District Grants Hub
A guided process for club-led projects, scholarships, and educational activities that serve communities, strengthen clubs, and demonstrate Rotary impact.
District Grants support Rotary clubs in delivering local and international humanitarian projects, scholarships, and educational activities.
District 5030’s grant process is designed to increase Rotarian engagement, strengthen collaboration between clubs, and support sustainable, community-based impact. Clubs move through qualification, proposal development, final application, committee review, reporting, and stewardship requirements.
How the Process Works
1. Get Qualified
Clubs must be qualified annually before applying for District Grants.
Qualification includes required training and current club documents, including the signed Club MOU, Club Stewardship Plan, and Club Financial Management Plan.
Applications will not be reviewed until required qualification documents are complete.
2. Prepare Your Proposal
The proposal stage helps clubs define the community need, project concept, estimated budget, beneficiaries, timeline, and Rotarian involvement before the final application is submitted.
Early Feedback Window: July 1st – August 15th
3. Submit the Final Application
The final application must include the complete project plan, budget, sustainability plan, required documents, partnership information, and compliance disclosures.
Final Application Deadline: September 1st
4. Committee Review
Applications are reviewed by the District Grants Committee for community need, project impact, sustainability, Rotarian involvement, financial soundness, stewardship, and overall project quality.
Projects over $5,000 must align with at least one Rotary Area of Focus and demonstrate sustainability with a minimum 5-year impact.
5. Complete Reporting
Approved projects must submit required reports with project results, financial summaries, supporting documentation, and stewardship confirmation.
A progress report is required if the project exceeds one year. A final report is required for all grants and must be submitted within 60 days of project completion.
